The Electric Materials Laboratory carries out the following tests on materials, electrical and electronic subassemblies and products, complying with the methods from internal and international standards:

1. Physical-chemical analyses for insulating varnishes, paints, resins (viscosity, drying, content of non-volatile substances, gelatinization time, dielectric strength, volume resistivity etc.)

2. Electrical insulating oil analysis (viscosity, dielectric strength, tan delta, dissolved gases, furans, particle content)

3. Test on protecting coatings (measurement of coating thickness, assessment of coating adherence)

4. Scientific research services in the domain of transformer insulation condition diagnosis.
